Family Yoga Together teaches and inspires families how to do yoga together. Our four points of focus are on child-friendly movement, breath, meditation, and philosophy. We upload videos regularly with tips on how parents can introduce these concepts to their children. We also host workshops and events around Northern California's Bay Area. Erynn Im-Sato is a certified yoga instructor. She completed her 200-hour training at Namaste in Berkeley and kids training at Yoga Garden in San Francisco. Erynn and Russell met in college in 2001. In 2015 their son Harlem was born. Erynn had been practicing yoga for over a decade but after having a baby and going back to work full-time, she found it difficult to make time and space for studio classes. So she brought the practice home. She is strengthening her knowledge of yoga with teacher trainings, committed to a regular home practice, and is gradually teaching her son how to do yoga. She uses the teachings of yoga as a tool for mindful parenting and hopes to share the many benefits of yoga to her own family and beyond.
